For this project we were asked to place a 60,000 pound Fuel Cell behind the new Stop & Shop store in Torrington, CT. The Fuel Cell was to be set on a pad that was bordering electrical wires. The wire restriction required the crane to be not too big as to take up all the available space, but big enough to pick the 60,000 pounds. The tight quarters to the electrical wires made us rotate the fuel cell, over the store, so that the rear of the crane boom would maintain the required safe minimum distance to the electrical wires. Once clear of the electrical wires we were able to set the unit on the pad at the required distance from the crane.
