Operated Crane Rentals
Coordinated From Yard To Site

We dispatch operated cranes across the Northeast. Every job runs through our planning process before the crane mobilizes. Load weight, ground bearing, lift sequence, and crew timing all get confirmed at the yard. You get the right crane on schedule, with a licensed operator and a rigging plan that fits the lift.

What We Operate

Cranes Sized To The Lift,
Operators Who Run Them

Operated crane service means the crane comes with the operator. You get an experienced licensed operator running it, sized to the lift you need. We confirm load weights, ground bearing, and lift sequence before the crane mobilizes.

What's Included

Operated crane rental includes the crane and a state and national licensed operator. Standard rigging gear is included for most lifts. We also provide the lift planning and pre-lift safety checklist. Specialized rigging or extended hours are quoted separately.

Areas We Serve

Aero crews dispatch from South Windsor across Connecticut, Rhode Island, western Massachusetts, and southern Vermont. Equipment is matched to the site distance, road access, and lift requirements before the crane leaves the yard.

Fleet Capacity

The fleet spans 25-ton carry decks to 770-ton all-terrain Liebherrs, with boom trucks, truck cranes, and forklifts in between. Each crane is matched to the load, the site access, and the schedule of your job.

How We Execute Operated Crane Service

For operated crane service, we align early with your team to confirm scope, access, pick locations, and sequencing. Then we coordinate rigging needs and day-of communication so the lift integrates cleanly with the rest of your jobsite plan.

Confirm Lift Requirements

We confirm what is being lifted, where it needs to land, the target date, and any access limits or overhead constraints that affect setup.

Match The Right Crane And Setup

We select the crane class and configuration based on load weight, pick radius, lift height, and site conditions so the lift is sized correctly.

Execute The Lift With Clear Coordination

Our operator works with your crew on site to keep the work area controlled and the pick executed safely from start to final placement.

Close Out And Stay Aligned

We confirm completion, coordinate demobilization, and plan follow on lifts if your project has additional phases.

Operated Crane Service FAQs

Questions contractors and project managers ask before booking a lift.

What's Included In Operated Crane Rental?

Operated crane rental includes the crane and a state and national licensed operator. We also provide the lift planning, rigging plan, and pre-lift safety checklist. Standard rigging gear is included for most lifts. Specialized rigging or extended hours are quoted separately.

How Far In Advance Should I Book A Lift?

For standard lifts under 100 tons, 1 to 2 weeks of lead time gets the right crane on the schedule. Larger lifts, multi-crane picks, and out-of-state jobs benefit from 3 to 4 weeks of planning. We work shorter windows when our schedule allows.

Do You Handle The Rigging Plan And Permits?

We build the rigging plan as part of every operated lift. Permits depend on the jurisdiction. Road permits and overweight permits we can coordinate. Site-specific work permits are typically the contractor's responsibility, and we will consult on requirements.

What Sizes Of Cranes Does Aero Operate?

Our operated fleet covers 25 to 770 tons. That includes 8 Liebherr All-Terrains, 2 National Crane Boom Trucks, 1 National Crane Truck Crane, and 1 Grove Carry Deck. We size the crane to the lift you describe.

What Areas Do You Cover?

Connecticut is our home state. We dispatch from South Windsor and cover Rhode Island, western Massachusetts, and southern Vermont. Most jobsites sit within a typical day's drive. Longer hauls are quoted with travel and lodging factored in.

Can You Provide An Operator Only, Without The Crane?

We rent operated cranes as a package, equipment plus operator. We do not lease operators separately. If you have your own crane and need a certified operator for a specific lift, contact us and we can discuss case-by-case.
